How do I run for Office?
Email or contact Connie toward the end of the year and tell her that you are interested in running for an office. You will need to write a bio (just a 4 sentence paragraph about yourself and what position you are running for) and then all HOSA members will vote.
What are By-Laws?
Bylaws are designed to help the group function in an orderly manner. Bylaws are provided to all officers and board members. A copy of the bylaws can be made available to any member upon request, and should be reviewed every year. Members should know them well.
Do I have to take the Sports Medicine class in order to be a part of CoHOSA?
Absolutely not! Everyone is invited to join. HOSA welcomes anyone and everyone interested in any aspect of the health field, whether it be Sports Medicine, Nursing, Biotechnology, or even Business and Management.
